People fields

Beyond name and team, Calero supports:

  • Influence score (1–5) — how much this person affects decisions you care about.
  • Relationship strength (1–5) — how strong your working relationship is today.
  • Tags — flexible labels (e.g. “budget”, “risk”, “ally”) for filtering and mental shortcuts.

Scores are lightweight signals. They are easy to adjust as you learn the org.

Relationships

Between two people you can record types such as:

  • Reports to
  • Influences
  • Blocks
  • Supports
  • Works with

Relationships are directional (from one person to another). They help answer questions like “who can unblock this?” without searching chat history.

Relationship layouts

Network and reporting views now support adaptive layouts:

  • Phones: top-down reporting tree for clearer nested hierarchy.
  • Wider screens: left-to-right reporting view for line-of-report readability.
  • Mind map rendering: connectors are layered behind cards to avoid overlap artifacts.

Birthday and anniversary reminders

Each person can now override reminder behavior:

  • Enable/disable birthday and work anniversary reminders per person.
  • Choose lead time (days in advance) per person, or inherit the global default.
  • Choose channels (local device notification and/or in-app dashboard reminder).

Email delivery is currently not part of the reminder channel set.

Custom fields and field layout

You can customize People fields from Settings:

  • Add custom user-defined fields (for example, GitHub profile URL).
  • Control visibility, required status, quick-add inclusion, and field ordering.
  • Keep quick add minimal while still allowing an expanded entry mode.
